Good Morning

I woke up to the boyfriend’s text message letting me know that he is on his way back here. It will take him about 2 hours before he reaches.

It was 9 am when I got out of bed and went outside to check on the little sister. She surprised me again to find out that she had already taken her shower, changed into her nice clothes for the birthday party that she would be attending later, eaten some cookies for breakfast (minus points for choosing cookies as a breakfast meal), taken her vitamins, and cleaned her little fish tank containing her fighting fish, Sir RedBelt.

Of course after that I encouraged her to have some cereal instead. I had a bowl of cereal too and we both brought it out to the living room to eat while watching some cartoons on the Disney channel.

You might be surprised to find that I can still laugh at those silly cartoons.

I probably would not still be laughing if things last night had gone in a different direction.

Then I logged onto WordPress to update. I was truly surprised to have received a comment on one of my posts. My first WordPress comment ever. Surprised because I had only started this… Blog? Journal? Diary? A couple of days ago. Thank you, stranger. I’ll take it as some words of encouragement.

Now off for a shower I go.
